DAZN’s senior vice president of subscriptions, Rob Stecklow, had the following to say on making Canelo vs. Smith available on PPV.

“DAZN’s global strategy is to provide sports fans access to our content in any environment where they’re seeking it. This is just another way to present our content to boxing fans, in the more traditional way that they seek it out.”

Canelo vs. Smith will be held on Saturday night, December 19. The bout is being contested for the WBA (Super) and WBC Super-Middleweight Titles. It’ll take place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Fans will be allowed in attendance at a reduced capacity.
