Canelo Vs. Charlo Full Card Announced

The complete card for Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo has been revealed, with many intriguing matchups taking place on September 30th, 2023.

The main event will see Canelo defend his titles against Charlo, who fights above junior middleweight for the first time in his career by moving up two-weight classes. The bout will see one undisputed champion come up short in a fight that offers the chance to make history. Canelo has his 60th fight, while Charlo can join Terence Crawford as the only other man to become undisputed in two-weight classes.

Elsewhere on the card, Yordenis Ugas and Mario Barrios face each other in a battle for the vacant WBC interim belt. Ugas makes his comeback following his 11th-round-stoppage defeat to Errol Spence Jr. Meanwhile, Barrios returns following his loss to Keith Thurman via a unanimous decision. The win will give the two former world champions the chance to face Crawford for all the belts at 147 or to become the full champion if Bud vacates.

In addition, Erickson Lubin faces Jesus Ramos at junior middleweight. Lubin has only been defeated two times against Sebastian Fundora and the division’s undisputed champion, Jermell Charlo. In contrast, Ramos is an exciting, undefeated talent whose record stands at 20 wins, with 16 knockouts.

Meanwhile, Elijah Garcia takes on Jose Resendiz in a middleweight clash. Garcia has stopped four out of his last five opponents. Resendiz is also in good form, having knocked out Jarrett Hurd in his last fight.
