Canelo Vs. Charlo Officially Confirmed For September 30th
Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo has been officially confirmed for September 30th, 2023, from the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, on Showtime PPV.
In a battle of two undisputed champions, Canelo will put his undisputed super-middleweight belts on the line against the junior middleweight champion.
Charlo will jump up two weight classes and be fighting above 154 for the first time in his career. Canelo’s only defeat so far has been to Floyd Mayweather.

However, since then, the Mexican has gone on to become a four-division champion with big-name wins over Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev and Caleb Plant to name a few.
Meanwhile, Charlo’s only defeat was to Tony Harrison, which he managed to avenge with an 11th-round stoppage in the rematch.
But a victory over Canelo would put Charlo into the history books, as an undisputed champion in two-weight classes like Terence Crawford. With that being said, there is plenty on the line.

Canelo probably wins, but I’m rooting for Charlo because it would make the potential Bud fight even bigger
