Conor McGregor was on the back end of some scathing remarks from Carl Froch on social media.
The two have not been on the best of terms ever since Froch claimed that he would stop McGregor in a boxing match while also fancying his chances against the Notorious in the cage. That did not go down well with McGregor, who had plenty to say in the aftermath of it all.
“That Froch tick, little scrawny pencil neck. I’ll grab his head and twist it clean off at a oner with my bare hands. Little wally of a thing. I’ll slap you around you little toffee nose t***pot,” McGregor said
While that did not result in a fight being made, the verbal shots between the pair have continued to rumble on. McGregor just so happened to comment on David Haye’s impressive win over Nikolai Valuev in 2009, which made him the WBA heavyweight champion of the world. The win was all the more impressive since Haye was a cruiserweight who had beaten Valuev, who stood at an enormous seven-foot tall, as McGregor praised the boxer.
“What a performance,” McGregor
In response, Froch could not help but use McGregor’s infamous line against him.
“And what the f**k do you know about Boxing,” Froch
