Carl Froch To Train Toby Kebbell, Shia LaBeouf For ‘Salvable’ Boxing-Crime Drama

Four-time world champion and hall-of-famer Carl Froch will train Toby Kebbell and Shia LaBeouf for their boxing-crime drama Salvable.

The movie is centred around Sal, known as “The Bull,” who is no longer a boxer at the peak of his powers at 40. Regretting some of his mistakes, Sal finds a chance to redeem himself by entering into illegal boxing through his friend Vince. Sal must now decide whether to pursue this road with unfounded consequences or repair the relationship with his daughter Molly.

Filming is expected to begin in April as Froch follows the footsteps of his friend and former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew. Bellew has made his foray into the acting world, starring in the Creed movie franchise featuring Michael B Jordan. Froch has spoken previously about his desire to enter into acting.

“I’m dipping my toe in the water for a bit of acting. I’ve just been reading the script [on Friday] morning, so it may come to fruition or it may not. It’s crime in London, it’s all going off and there’s terrorists going off, and Jason’s tackling it through the Metropolitan Police,” Froch said

If the project does well, Froch may well find himself on the other side of the camera.
