Cecilia Braekhus Vs. Jessica McCaskill Results

Matchroom Boxing is looking to host a historical fight night as it makes its return to America. On the streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the promotion is ready to create another unique fight experience.

The main event of the night will be undisputed welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus defending her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring Welterweight Titles against  Jessica McCaskill. The two are main eventing after Julio Cesar Martinez had to back out of his fight with McWilliams Arroyo due to non-COVID-19-related symptoms.

Braekhus (36-0) is looking for the 26th-straight title defense of her welterweight titles. If she were to do so, she would break Joe Louis’ record. In her eleventh professional fight, “The First Lady” beat Vinni Skovgaard via unanimous decision for the WBA and WBC Welterweight Titles. Her last bout was a unanimous decision win over Victoria Bustos back in November.

McCaskill (8-2) is the WBA, and WBC Super-Lightweight Champion. She has won three in a row since losing to Katie Taylor back in 2017. A win could result in her facing Taylor again.

FIGHT SPORTS will be providing coverage of Braekhus v. McCaskill!
