Cejudo Injured, UFC 211 Bout With Pettis Cancelled

The stacked UFC 211 card held together all the way up to fight week, but now one of the main card bouts has been scrapped. Henry Cejudo has reportedly injured his hand and his flyweight bout with Sergio Pettis has been pulled from the Dallas event.

MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani broke the news late Wednesday afternoon.

The fight was slated to open the main card on pay-per-view. The fight that will move up from the prelims to replace it has yet to be announced.

Helwani also reported that Pettis will receive his show money for the bout if he successfully makes weight on Friday morning.
