Chad Johnson’s Opponent For Mayweather-Paul Card Revealed

Former NFL star Chad Johnson has an opponent for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul card.

On June 6, Mayweather will go one-on-one with Paul. The exhibition bout will take place inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. It’ll air LIVE on Showtime PPV and on FIGHT SPORTS in over 50 countries.

Johnson revealed that he will be competing on the card but his opponent was unknown. BKFC took to its Twitter account to reveal that Brian Maxwell will be sharing the ring with Johnson.

“BKFC’s Brian Maxwell will be fighting Chad Johnson [on the] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul card!”

Maxwell has a record of 0-3 in bare-knuckle boxing. Two of those fights took place under the BKFC banner. Maxwell also has pro MMA and pro boxing experience.

Johnson does not have any pro boxing experience under his belt. He is a high-level athlete, however. Johnson played in the NFL for over a decade as one of the premier wide receivers in football. Johnson played for the Cincinnati Bengals for most of his career. He spent one season with the New England Patriots.

More details surrounding the Mayweather vs. Paul card have yet to surface. When they become available, FIGHT SPORTS will keep you posted.
