Chael Sonnen Announces 2028 Presidential Run

Chael Sonnen has announced he is running for President of the United States in 2028, posting on X that he has begun putting his cabinet together.

It is not the former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight title challenger’s first venture into politics. In 2010 he ran unopposed in the Republican primary for the Oregon House of Representatives and secured the nomination before being forced to step aside due to a prior federal money laundering conviction from 2006. Whether this is genuine ambition is a question without a clean answer.
