Chandler Frustrated By McGregor’s USADA Situation, Continues Shutout Over Team McGregor On TUF 31

Michael Chandler has expressed his frustration with Conor McGregor’s failure to enroll in USADA.

The pair are expected to face each other, as they currently lock horns on the TUF 31 as coaches.

McGregor has not entered the Octagon since his leg injury in 2021 following his loss to Dustin Porier.

Although he has undergone an extensive rehabilitation process, he has not enrolled with the US Anti-Doping Agency’s regulations, as he has exited the UFC’s active athletes’ pool to concentrate on his recuperation.

And on June 16th, 2023, the ‘Notorious’ had been given 48 hours to enroll in the USADA testing program if he wanted to compete in UFC 296 this year.

McGregor was required to provide two negative samples before the six-month testing pool deadline to be allowed to fight. With that being said, Chandler has been left frustrated by the Irishman’s conduct.

“Alright guys, you guys have all seen the news: Conor’s not in USADA. One hundred and seventy-nine days left until December 16, which is supposed to be the last pay-per-view of the year.

“And comically, USADA shows up at my door today to add insult to injury. Where you at, boy?” Chandler

Nevertheless, it is essential to bear in mind the following point. McGregor was recently accused of sexual assault as he attended the NBA Finals in Miami, something which he denied.

Therefore, until this clears up, McGregor may be some way off a return. In the meantime, the duo continue to square off as coaches on TUF 31.

In the fourth episode, the same theme occurred as Chandler’s team went 4-0 as Timur Valiev beat Trevor Wells by a unanimous decision.

Wells started off well with his striking, as his jab and grappling meant he took the first round.

However, since that moment, it was all one-way traffic. Valiev’s right hand began to connect in the second round onto Valiev’s chin.

A further takedown for Valiev followed, as his wrestling skills powered him to victory. With Chandler running away with another victory, Team McGregor must change the tide.
