Chaos Ensues After Gervonta Davis ‘Pushed’ Rolando Romero During Weigh-In
After all the trash talk this week, a fight almost ensued at the weigh-in.
Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero met one last time before their anticipated main event fight at the Barclays Center on Saturday. Davis will be defending his WBA regular lightweight belt.
Davis came in at 133 3/4 pounds while Romero was 134 1/4 pounds.
After making weight, the two had their traditional face off. Romero had stepped in front of Davis while they were flexing, and Davis lightly shoved Romero.

Romero immediately jumped back up to charged at Davis, but the two camps intervened for a few minutes before the stage was cleared.
“I just hit him off the edge of the stage, I just pushed him,” Davis said smiling.
