Charlo Theft Suspect Turns Self In


As previously reported by FIGHT SPORTS, Jermall Charlo was robbed in the early hours of March 4th, at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Manhattan.

Charlo, who was there with his assistant following the Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz fight, got into an altercation of his own at the club, and his assistant left a bag with $155,000 in cash and jewelry with one of two women partying with the  boxer. When Charlo and his assistant returned to their table, the bag and the woman were missing.

When he returned to gather the bag — it was gone.

Per a report from TMZ, the bag contained a $15,000 diamond bracelet. a $75,000 championship ring, a $10,000 Cartier ring and more, plus $40,000 in cash.

On Tuesday morning, a 40 year old Connecticut woman, Sarah Morin, turned herself in to the authorities, following the police asking for help identifying her from security camera footage, as seen above.

TMZ reported that the cops have recovered all of the missing jewelry, but the $40,000 in cash is unaccounted for.
