Charlo Wants Crawford After Canelo – ‘I Want To Knock Crawford Out’

Jermell Charlo is already looking beyond his fight with Canelo Alvarez by calling out Terence Crawford

The American faces the biggest fight of his career when he takes on Alvarez for the chance to become undisputed at 168. This will require Charlo to fight above 154 for the first time in his career and move up two weight divisions. But rather than be worried about the daunting task that is ahead of him, Charlo was in very positive spirits.

A fight with Crawford had long been talked about, especially during Bud’s win over Errol Spence Jr. As he knocked Spence down in the seventh round, Crawford could be seen turning his head towards Charlo, shouting ‘You’re next.’ And by the looks of it, Charlo is ready for the fight.

“Don’t write a check your a** can’t cash. I’m one of those ones. You got to face me. I got to see what you on. It’s a pilot on a stove. When you light that stove a bunch of times, it boof. It bursts out. So sometimes, I just hold back and allow it to idle in a position. When I get done with this one [Canelo Alvarez], I’m going to move on to that situation. I’ll take care of everybody I got to take care of,” Charlo

However, in order to make that happen, Charlo would have to secure a win over Canelo. Bud has made it clear that his aim is to become undisputed in a third weight class. Therefore, the pressure is on Charlo to get the win. But by the looks of it, Charlo is very confident.
