CHECK OUT: UFC 253 Fight Promo – Israel Adesanya Vs. Paulo Costa

The tension between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa is as real as it gets. With both fighters ready to take the other one out, the UFC is looking to take advantage of what has been handed to them.

Adesanya (19-0) and Costa (13-0) will be fighting on September 26 at UFC 253. On the line will be Adesanya’s UFC Middleweight Title. Check out the above video highlighting the fighter’s careers and how much they want to hurt one another.

Joining the UFC in 2018, Adesanya beat Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum, the latter to win the interim middleweight title. “The Last Stylebender” then faced off against UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker in Melbourne, Australia in a unification fight. Adesanya beat Whittaker via knockout in round two. He last fought at UFC 248 in March, beating Yoel Romero via unanimous decision.

Costa debuted in the UFC in 2017. Ranked second in the UFC’s middleweight rankings, Costa beat Romero via unanimous decision at UFC 241. Before that, he was suspended six months by USADA, as well as his doctor, for using prohibited IVs. It was later revealed that he tore his left biceps, delaying a bout between the two.

As of now, it is being reported that “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi may be holding the event.
