Derek Chisora (36-14-0) wants an immediate rematch with Deontay Wilder (45-4-1), effectively retracting the “retirement” comments he made.
The bout on April 4 was heavily promoted as Chisora’s 50th and final fight. Following his split-decision loss, Chisora did not confirm if he would retire. Chisora expressed his fury over the scoring, specifically the two knockdowns credited to Wilder in the eighth round. Now, he has said he wants a rematch to avenge the loss.
“I’m very upset with the scoring. The two knockdowns I give him were pushes. The ropes were so loose. It was just an embarrassment. I’m not happy with that. The whole thing was a shambles on my side and his side as well. But I want to get a rematch. Yes,” Chisora said
