Chris Barnett ‘Just Getting Started’ After Spinning Wheel Kick KO Over Gian Villante
Chris Barnett saved his UFC career with an emphatic statement.
Barnett (22-7) knocked out Gian Villante (17-14) in the second round of UFC 268 Saturday night. The spinning wheel kick sent Villante to retirement while Barnett has locked himself in the promotion’s roster.

Saturday night was his second fight in the UFC.
His first bout was held against heavyweight veteran Ben Rothwell, where Barnett suffered a submission loss.
This time around he barely made weight, but he managed to land a spinning wheel kick. With the victory, he earned an extra $50,000 for the Performance of the Night bonus.
