Chris Eubank Jr. Vs. Liam Williams, Claressa Shields Vs. Ema Kozin Added To December 11 Fight Card
The fight card for December 11 in Cardiff, Wales is getting stacked.
Chris Eubank Jr. (31-2, 23 KOs) will settle his rivalry with Liam Williams (23-3-1, 18 KOs) on December 11. On the same card, Claressa Shields (11-0, 2 KOs) will make her boxing return and defend her WBA, WBC, IBF and WBF middleweight titles against Ema Kozin (21-0, 11 KOs).
“Liam Williams has been saying a lot to try to catch my attention and bait me into fighting him,” Eubank said. “It’s now got to the point where everyone is asking me to shut him up, and on December 11, I’m going to give the people what they want.”
Eubank has victories over Arthur Abraham and James DeGale, but also holds two career losses from Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves. He last fought against Wanik Awdijan in October and won via corner stoppage.
Williams, meanwhile, has three losses from Demetrius Andrade and a pair from Liam Smith.
Shields made history in March with a unanimous decision win against Marie Eve Dicaire, claiming the WBC, IBF, WBO and WBA world super welterweight titles, becoming the first boxer in the four-belt era to be an undisputed world champion in two weight classes.
She is putting her middleweight titles on the line versus Kozin.
Kozin has yet to experience a loss in her boxing career as well. She is coming off a TKO win over Radana Knezevic in May.
The fight card is presented by Boxxer and will air on Sky Sports.
