Ciryl Gane To Serve As Olympic Torchbearer Prior To 2024 Games In Paris

Former interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane will soon add another line to his resume, as he has been selected to carry the Olympic torch for a portion of the ceremonial relay through France.

Gane has not fought since his second round finish of Serghei Spivac in their contest back in September, and he currently has no scheduled bout with the UFC. But, he clearly is keeping himself busy as the most recognizable French MMA athlete to date.

“Bon Gamin” revealed the news of his 2024 Olympic involvement via Instagram earlier this week, and clearly he is honored to have been presented with this opportunity.
