Coach Promises Best Version Of Conor At UFC 246
Fighting for the first time in 15 months, and fighting at a weight he’s only been at three-times in his career, Conor McGregor has some questions that need answering.
While many may be skeptical of the former two-division champion, McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh believes fans will be surprised by the man who will headline UFC 246 against Cowboy Cerrone in a welterweight fight.
Jan 1st, last heavy spar today before going to Vegas. Can honestly say this is the best i've seen him and i wasn't sure that was possible to do 6 months ago. You guys are in for a real treat, i'm just glad to have a good seat! #UFC246

McGregor requested the move to welterweight for this fight was due to the former champion’s desire to fight three times this year and limit his weight cuts that would deplete him in the long run.
