Conan Offers Fight For UFC Shares, Conor Accepts
While Dana White isn’t interested in giving Conor McGregor a stake in the UFC, one of the celebs who gained a piece when WME-IMG purchased them in 2016 is willing to pony up.
Late night host and tormentor of Jordan Shlansky, Conan O’Brien told TMZ this week that he’d consider facing off with McGregor inside the Octagon with his shares on the line.
“I will fight him for his [share],” O’Brien told TMZ.
“If he can take me in the Octagon. I’d have to take a look at the paperwork. I’m all about the paperwork. If the paperwork works out, then we’ll talk about it.”
While a fight is unlikely between the two red-heads, one would hope it would fair better for the writer of The Simpsons’ Monorail episode than it did when the two faced off on O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer series a few years ago.
McGregor, who has a playful history (literally and metaphorically) with O’Brien, took to Twitter to answer the challenge.

Challenge accepted Conan! I’ll whoop you and Walhberg in the same night. Double shares for the Double Champ!
McGregor’s mention of Wahlberg continues the former UFC double champion’s trend of calling out the Boston-born actor who also owns a piece of the UFC.
Let us know who you’d think would win in a hypothetical fight between the rangy O’Brien and the aggressive McGregor on Facebook and Twitter!
