Conor McGregor Boasts Big Gains Ahead Of UFC Return

Conor McGregor is displaying his gains.

McGregor posted photos of his weight transformation on Twitter, claiming to be “190 lbs of granite” ahead of his projected return to the octagon in the first half of 2022.

The 33-year-old has reportedly resumed training as he continues recovery from his broken leg. He suffered the injury after his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July.

At that matchup, the Irishman weighed in at 156 pounds – now he’s reportedly beefed up to 190.

McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh said McGregor was looking “jacked” after returning to the gym.

“He’s doing a lot of strength training at the moment,” Kavanagh said. “The guy is jacked. I think he’s coming back as a middleweight!”

The former two-weight UFC champion’s list of potential opponents include Poirier for a fourth meeting and even a callout to welterweight titlist Kamaru Usman.

In a separate tweet, McGregor ensured he will be making a return no matter what.

“I will be [in] full mixed martial arts sparring by April. Easily! By then a return will be imminent,” McGregor said. But I must be patient. I will beat this!”
