Conor McGregor Caught Up In A Pub Brawl – Here’s What We Know

Conor McGregor was at a pub (The Saddle Club) in Liverpool when a brawl broke out.

According to reports, the ‘Notorious’ was present in the city to attend his aunt’s funeral.

While that may have been the case, things escalated pretty fast. In the video here, we can see the MMA star quickly leaving the pub with his security.

Thereafter, footage began to emerge of a brawl, with speculation over whether or not McGregor was involved.

This was after reports that the brawl started after the Irishman allegedly spent 35 minutes with a female guest in the bathroom.

Subsequently, an investigation is being carried out in order to determine those that were involved.

“We were called to The Saddle pub in Prenton, Wirral, at 7.50 p.m. last night, Tuesday, July 18, to reports of an altercation. Officers attended the pub and spoke to a number of people.

“Further enquiries are being carried out to establish what has taken place but at this stage no complaints have been made and nobody has been arrested,” Merseyside Police

But now the pub involved has come out to state that McGregor had conducted himself in a courteous manner, thus dismissing any claims that the Irishman had crossed the line.

“Subject to speculation Mr McGregor presented himself as a gentleman would when attending a family funeral. He was courteous, polite and well mannered to all our staff and members when in communal areas through the time he was here, taking pictures, signing autographs and donating to certain charities on behalf of the family.

“When the incident occurred,Mr McGregor was upset by the actions of certain people attending the funeral and Mr McGregors security detail decided it necessary to leave to avoid unnecessary speculation and attention,” a statement from The Saddle Club
