Conor McGregor made an appearance at the annual ‘Time Out Dubai Nightlife Awards’, which celebrates the city’s best bars, pubs and clubs.
McGregor, who is the founder of the ‘Proper 12’ Irish Whiskey brand, was on hand to attend a gala dinner on November 22nd, 2023. Thereafter, the Irishman took to the stage to speak to the 500 people who had attended the ballroom of Palazzo Versace, Dubai. McGregor lauded the nightlife in Dubai as he said some warm words for the Irish bars that were competing for the ‘Best Irish Bar Award.’ The news follows other reports that the Irishman’s pub, the Black Forge, could be making its way into the UAE, thus finding its way to Dubai.

And the MMA fighter will be hoping for the same success in the octagon when he makes his long-awaited return next year. Following McGregor’s enrollment into USADA, he is required to show two negative samples across a six-month period before he can compete. And if he does that, then a return could take place at UFC 300 or in the summer, as per Dana White. Either way, the coming months will prove critical for McGregor’s next move.
