While there has yet to be much news about Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC, there has been an update on his movie debut in the remake of “Road House.”
In a recent tweet, McGregor shared behind-the-scenes photos. He will star alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the remake of the 1989 classic. It’s an action film that follows a Missouri bar that’s controlled by a corrupt businessman; it featured Patrick Swayze and Kelly Lynch, to name a few.

“The Mac. The Movies,” McGregor tweeted.
The Irish star has also produced a documentary, “Conor McGregor: Notorious,” which was released in 2017. It gave a look into his fights with Nate Diaz and his title fight against Jose Aldo.
Off the screen, McGregor has bulked up in an anticipation to debut at welterweight. The former featherweight and lightweight champion has been linked to fight top names like Michael Chandler and even former champion Kamaru Usman.
But it’s unclear when any of that will happen because McGregor has allegedly been removed from the USADA testing pool, which fighters are required to be enrolled in for at least six months prior to returning to competition
McGregor has been sidelined ever since losing to Dustin Poirier in back-to-back fights. His last bout in July 2021 left him with a broken leg.
