Conor McGregor Goes Off On Daniel Cormier

Conor McGregor isn’t thrilled with Daniel Cormier at the moment.

McGregor has been disgruntled with the UFC as of late. He released text messages received from UFC President Dana White of past plans for his next fight. White was none too pleased with McGregor but the “Notorious” one countered by saying that the UFC boss broke a code with the claim that he turned down fights.

During a recent edition of the DC & Helwani Show, Cormier argued that McGregor isn’t truly willing to fight just anybody. McGregor wasn’t happy about this and took to his Twitter account to respond.

“I asked for May you fat fool, what you saying? I fought in January and tried to go again but was purposely held back to be an alternate for a July fight. Wait 7 whole fucking months and “maybe” I’d get to fight? Are you stupid? What are you saying mate? I asked for May vs ANYONE!”

Cormier trains with McGregor’s heated rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov at American Kickboxing Academy. On top of that, Cormier is a UFC color commentator which has led some to accuse him of being in the promotion’s pocket when it comes to his viewpoint of McGregor’s current situation. This is sure to just add fuel to the fire.

McGregor hasn’t competed since January. He stopped Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in 40 seconds via TKO. He has since claimed to be retired due to the lack of enticing opposition. McGregor has also said he feels the UFC keeps going against his wishes.
