Conor McGregor Plots A Historic Comeback
Conor McGregor (22-6) is a name that needs no introduction to the world of competitive fighting, and it looks as though the Irish boxer is plotting a memorable comeback rather than retiring from MMA.
Many people thought that he would hang up his gloves soon, but he recently published a hype video of himself on Instagram. With the caption he added, it looks like he is teasing his fans.
“The greatest and the biggest sports comeback in history. Will you be a witness?” McGregor wrote in the caption.
McGregor has lost three of his last four fights in MMA, with his only success coming against Donald Cerrone. However, he is willing to give one final push in his career and become a champion again.
“The world will talk again (about) the triple crown,” McGregor said. “No one’s ever obtained three knockouts in three weight divisions moving up as I have already. But no one’s ever obtained three UFC world titles across three divisions like I will do also if we make this fight.
“There’s history to be made. The game is to be shaken up again. The triple crown has never been done,” McGregor later added. “It’ll never be done in my lifetime. No one will do this in my lifetime,”.
If McGregor becomes a three-weight champion, it will definitely be marked as one of the most historic comebacks in sport’s history.
