Conor McGregor Takes Shot At Dustin Poirier While Praising Fury-Wilder III
Conor McGregor talked about how a great trilogy Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury was while also taking a jab at Dustin Poirier.
The UFC sensation said that both fighters had done a great job. He mentioned how dishonorable it is to celebrate your rival’s injury, just like Poirier did in their trilogy fight.
“I love when it gets set for certain and both have an honorable showing,” McGregor said. “Not the fam in the ring fake celebrating after a freak injury etc etc you know the gig, God bless the real in this world.”
Their skill levels are unique but very close. A great heavyweight trilogy that was. I love when it gets set for certain and both have an honorable showing. Not the fam in the ring fake celebrating after a freak injury etc etc you know the gig, God bless the real in this world.

Great fight that. Both warriors, both winners. Hard to not be impressed with Deontay there. Against the much larger man and almost got it done. Great fight. 40lb’s in weight difference is A LOT. Fair play both men there, very enjoyable fights they have had together. Respect.

McGregor and Poirier faced each other in the featherweight division, and McGregor earned a first-round KO victory.
After several years, they shared the cage for the second time where Poirier earned a knockout victory.
In their trilogy battle, McGregor suffered a broken tibia and could not manage to continue the fight. He is still recovering from the injury.
“The Gypsy King” Fury ended the trilogy between him and “Bronze Bomber” Wilder, earning a knockout victory in Round 11.
This was Fury’s second victory against Wilder since their first battle ended up as a draw. Wilder opened this bout strongly, while he earned two knockdowns in a row and won the round 10-8, but still, Fury managed to come back and earned three knockdowns total to end the showdown.
