Conor McGregor Thinking Of Buying Chelsea FC
Conor McGregor could be making his next business move.
Russian owner Roman Abramovich expressed his intention to sell Chelsea F.C., a London-based soccer club he owns, amid external pressure due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the threat of sanctions from the British government.
McGregor made it clear that he was interested.
“I wish to explore this @ChelseaFC,” McGregor tweeted.

Attached to the tweet was a screenshot of a WhatsApp message to an unidentified person. McGregor messaged, “Chelsea for sale, £3bn. Let’s buy it.”
Abramovich bought Chelsea for nearly $190 million in 200. He previously turned down offers worth $2.9 billion.
McGregor previously showed interest in buying Manchester United, a club he supports, but that never came to fruition.
The Irish star already owned Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey and The Black Forge Inn pub in Dublin.
He has been sidelined since July of 2021 after suffering a loss and broken leg injury to Dustin Poirier. The former double-champion is targeting a return in the summer, but it’s unclear if that’ll happen for sure.
