Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury have exchanged some heated blows on social media.
Eventually, both fighters ended up leaving the conflict behind. McGregor’s tweets have since been deleted.
The Twitter war started when McGregor named Fury a ‘Versace T–’ for not bothering to help Billy Joe Saunders’ dad when he had a clash with security after his son lost to Canelo Alvarez.
Though “The Gypsy King” was also present there, he completely avoided the debate. This did not go well with McGregor as he was already agitated with the WBC champion for lauding his old rival Khabib Nurmagomedov in a tweet.
Replying to that tweet he tweeted:
“Yup the Joyces. Big Joe! U bottled it with Billy joe Da, what were you doing there? I left him, Versace t*** U.Done. Nothing.”
Fury came back with a jibe at the MMA fighter.

“Come back when u win a fight mush, & the difference in me & you is I don’t get myself in trouble & people like me, your just a bully who hit old man, & yes Big up the hulk Joe, #morecambebay. in the house,” he responded.
But the war of words escalated when the boxing star took another swipe at “The Notorious” by making fun of his “tapping out.” This was a clear dig at the Irishman’s recent defeats to Dustin Poirier and Nurmagomedov.
The former double champ then posted a picture of the WBC champion along with the comment “take the Versace off.”
However, the air was soon cleared by McGregor. He took to Twitter that it was “all good” between both the champions and posted a video of Fury complimenting him.
