A custom Toyota Hilux gifted by Conor McGregor (22-6) to his first boxing coach, Philip Sutcliffe, was deliberately set on fire outside Sutcliffe’s home in Dublin, Ireland leading many to speculate that Conor’s inner circle is being targeted ahead of his rumored July 11th UFC return.
Sutcliffe, a former Irish Olympian, was McGregor’s first ever boxing coach. In November 2023, McGregor presented him with the truck — reportedly worth £30,000 at the time — at his Dublin bar, Black Forge Inn. Police and fire services responded to the scene following the attack. Police have confirmed an investigation is underway. No arrests have been reported at this stage.
