Conor Sends Message To Chimaev & Strickland

Conor McGregor (22-6) is keeping his eye on this weekend’s UFC middleweight title fight between champion Khamzat Chimaev (15-0) and Sean Strickland (37-0), sending a subtle message to both fighters.

Chimaev claimed the middleweight belt from Dricus du Plessis in August 2025, while Strickland earned a title shot by defeating Anthony Hernandez this past February. McGregor has never competed at middleweight, but is making his interest in the division known as he gets ready for his Octagon return following a five-year layoff, which is rumored to be on July 11 against Max Holloway: “Very excited for the Newark, New Jersey UFC card, with my 185 lb UFC title on the line,” McGregor said
