Conor States That His Return “Rumors Are True”

Conor McGregor says the rumors of his return are true, hinting that he could fight during International Fight Week in July. 

Posing on Instagram, the former two-division champion wrote: “The rumors are true! Mr. Confidence returns to save fighting again! Call your grandma! Nanny we did it!” The announcement follows after McGregor’s anti-doping suspension ended on March 20 after three whereabout failures.

McGregor hasn’t competed since July 2021, when he suffered a leg break during his trilogy bout defeat against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. A planned return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 was scrapped just two weeks before the event after McGregor broke his toe in training. 

While the UFC has not yet issued a formal press release, all signs point to McGregor headlining the UFC 330 card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas during International Fight Week.
