Cowboy’s Eye Injury or Makeup Artist Creation

Two weeks ago Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone posted a video of a gruesome eye injury, he has not stated where or how he injured his eye.  Reports flooded in that Cowboy crossed paths with a talented makeup artist on the set of a wild western tv drama he is involved in.  Being only weeks away from a UFC fight with Matt Brown, fight fans and members of the media were certain the injury was not real.

Cerrone’s initial video shows the eye injury along with a message Cowboy had for fans ensuring that his eye was ok after surgery and that he will not be pulling out of his upcoming bout with Matt Brown.

The next set of photos posted by Cerrone days and weeks later show a white bandage over the eye of Cowboy while he is posing for pictures with teammates and fellow fighters after a snow mobile trip.

The most recent photos posted only days ago with Bellator kickboxing talent and friend of Cerrone, Joe Schilling show a visible eye injury that seems to be healing relatively well.  At this point the injured eye looks as though it could be a severe black eye possibly sustained in a sparring session with Schilling while in Cabo San Lucas.

A new UFC Embedded Episode aired and Cerrone jokes about the injured eye but does not offer a definitive answer to the question everyone seems to be asking.  What happened to your eye man?

Cowboy Cerrone is an outspoken self proclaimed wild man or "BMF" which he now has tattooed on his neck.  What makes the story of his eye so interesting is if in fact he did injury it could be anyone’s guess as to what crazy thing he was doing when it happened.
