Crawford And Madrimov Make Their Grand Arrivals

The Grand Arrivals for Terence Crawford and Israil Madrimov took place as they face off on Saturday from the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.

Crawford aims to win Madrimov’s WBA Junior Middleweight title in his first fight at the weight class. He enters the fight with the best win of his career, having stopped Errol Spence Jr. to become the first Undisputed Welterweight Champion of the four-belt era.

A win over Madrimov makes Crawford a four-weight world champion, with the possibility of unifying against Sebastian Fundora (WBO and WBC champion ) or facing Canelo Alvarez at 168. Madrimov stopped Magomed Kurbanov in his last fight to win the vacant title.

He is 10-0-1 with 7 KOs. While he may not have many pro fights, Madrimov has over 300 amateur bouts. He also helped Dmitry Bivol prepare to beat Canelo. Crawford and Madrimov faced off with very little emotion as fight week was underway.
