Crawford Moves On From The Spence Rematch

Terence Crawford has lost interest in fighting Errol Spence Jr. and has moved on.

Bud knocked out Spence to become the first undisputed welterweight champion of the four-belt era and undisputed in a second weight class. Spence’s defeat was clouded by suggestions that he was not 100 percent. His supporters suggested he could not make welterweight healthily.

The Truth activated the rematch clause with the hope of fighting at 154 pounds. There was a delay in making the rematch because of Showtime’s exit from the sport. Spence’s latest revelation that his cataract surgery addressed a vision problem coming into the Crawford fight took it too far as Bud distanced himself from Spence.

“Had successful cataract surgery today! That explains why I got hit with so many jabs and hooks lately and have been overdue since before the Crawford fight. Still a great performance by Bro. No more excuses after this fight, though. The champ is back,” Spence said

“I done heard it all now @ErrolSpenceJr it’s ok tho because all in all I’m glad it’s over and done with. I wish you well ma brotha,” Crawford stated
