Crawford Signs New Deal With Top Rank
Following winning the WBO welterweight championship earlier this year against Jeff Horn, Terence Crawford has signed a contract extension with Bob Arum’s Top Rank promotion.
Crawford and Top Rank were anxious to ink a deal prior to his October 13th title defense in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.
His first defense of his WBO welterweight crown against Jose Benavidez Jr, and is the third division he’s held a world championship, with a lightweight title and being undisputed junior welterweight champion prior to facing Horn on June 9th in Las Vegas.
