Terrence Crawford has spoken on what promises to be the biggest fight in boxing in recent years as he prepares to take on Errol Spence Jr. on June 29th, 2023.
The two fighters square off for the undisputed welterweight titles live from the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, with the winner becoming the first champion of the four-belt era.
đ @terencecrawford says a win over @ErrolSpenceJr would be âthe cherry on topâ of a career he already believes is Hall of Fame worthy.

And given what is at stake, Crawford downplayed the need to sell the fight. The winner will likely become boxing’s number one pound-for-pound superstar, with a potential move up to 154 lbs to challenge undisputed champion Jermell Charlo.
Not only that, but the obstacles that took place in trying to get the fight made have only increased the pressure on the fighters to perform.
Crawford had previously indicated that he and Spence had been offered a guarantee of $25 million to make the fight happen.
So when it did not materialize, there were suggestions that the fighters may have been ducking each other.
But now that the fight is here, Crawford is looking forward to putting on a show.
Reaction
“Me and Errol, we actually got on the phone and we both agreed that we both were going to do our best to make sure that this fight happened, and we got it done.
“So weâre here now and weâre about to put on one of the best welterweight showdowns in a long time.
“I called him and I was like, âHey, listen, letâs get it on.â And he was all for it. We both had the same mission, the same goal, and thatâs to become undisputed welterweight champion of the world and make history.
“So we both agreed that we were going to do what we can to get the fight done, and now weâre here,” Crawford said
