Shakur Stevenson has predicted that Terence Crawford will stop Errol Spence Jr. in the 11th round.
Crawford faces the biggest fight of his career as he takes on Spence for the undisputed welterweight championship. Victory would make Crawford undisputed in two weight classes and go down as a future hall-of-famer.
And Stevenson is someone that knows Crawford all too well. ‘Sugar Shakur’ was spotted helping Crawford get ready during this camp, as both fighters are known for having an exceptional IQ.
Although Spence is the bigger fighter, known for his volume punching, Shakur backed Crawford to win inside the distance. After all, ‘Bud’ has stopped all of his opponents since moving up to welterweight.
“Crawford is ready. He doesn’t even got to get into anything else. He’s ready. Nah, I don’t think it’s going to go the distance. Crawford by knockout. Eleven.
“People in the media, they talk bad on him, and they downplay every win he gets. So, he’s probably fed up and wants to show y’all tomorrow what he’s been working on. Take away Spence’s best attribute.
“His best attribute is his jab. If he takes away his jab, it’ll be an easy night. I think either way, he can take away his jab, but honestly, when Bud turns southpaw, he can get the job done. So I like him being southpaw,” Stevenson
Bud is in prime form to do such a thing. His last fight was a sixth-round-stoppage win over David Avanesyan, showing what the WBO champion is capable of doing.
So all eyes will be on fight night to see if Crawford can deliver.
