Crawford Willing To Pay Double Tax For Having Spence Fight In London

Crawford and Spence are still working out an undisputed title fight.

Terence Crawford is adamant to having a super fight between him and Errol Spence Jr in London.

Crawford and Spence are likely to face off in 2023. The US is likely to host their showdown, but Crawford doesn’t feel like it’s best to have it there.

“I wouldn’t mind going to London for it,” Crawford told Thaboxingvoice. “I wouldn’t mind taking it over there.”

When asked if he would be open to paying taxes twice if he fights Spence in London, he responded: “100%. You going to make more, though, trust me”.

“When you got Tyson Fury and AJ fighting in the UK, and they’re drawing 60,000 people in a stadium, then what does that tell you?” said Crawford.

“Saudi because they going to give you that upfront money. Of course, but where has AJ been fighting at? He just fought [in Saudi Arabia], but before that, where has he been fighting at?

“They’re putting that bag over there [in Saudi Arabia]. They support boxing more over there. When you look at the UK and when you look at the United States. In the UK, it goes soccer and then boxing.

“When you look at the United States, you go NFL, NBA, baseball, and then maybe boxing. Boxing is way on the downside in the USA supporting boxing.”
