Creed 2 Casts Boxer As Son Of Drago

According to the Hollywood Reporter, German-Romanian fitness junkie/boxer Florian Munteanu will be the son of Ivan Drago and square off against Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming movie, Creed 2.

Steven Caple will direct the movie, which is set to begin shooting in March in Philadelphia.

Creed 2 is the continuation of the Rocky series of movies starring Sylvester Stallone, with Jordan playing the son of Apollo Creed.

Munteanu will play the son of Ivan Drago, the ruthless Soviet boxer from Rocky IV, who killed Apollo Creed in the opening scene of the movie.

Dolph Lundgren starred as Drago in the 1985 film and will also be returning for Creed 2. Stallone and Tessa Thompson, who starred in Creed, are also returning.

The film has a November 21 release date.
