Creed II Set For $45 Million Opening Weekend
On Tuesday night, Creed II would net an impressive $3.7 million at the box office, closely behind another sequel in Disney’s “Ralph Breaks the Internet.
The Michael B. Jordan starring picture’s numbers doubled the numbers of 2015’s Creed, which would draw $1.5 million in Thanksgiving previews.
With wide release set for this weekend, the eighth movie featuring Rocky Balboa, now focused on Adonis Creed, is projected to make $45 million dollars over the next few days, $16 million more than Creed’s opening weekend in 2015, and nearly half of the $109 million made during its initial box office run.
