Cris Cyborg To Defend Bellator Title In Stacked Hawai’i Fight Card
Bellator is going to hold events in Hawai’i for two days.
The first day, which is on April 22, has yet to have finalized fights. But the second day, on April 23, is already stacked with a main event that features bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis vs. Raufeon Stots and a co-main event that’ll see Cris Cyborg in a rematch against Arlene Blencowe.
Bellator 278 and 279 will occur at Neil S. Blaisdell Center.
Pettis will face Stots for $1 million in a quarterfinal matchup in the Bellator Bantamweight World Grand Prix.
Cyborg will defend her throne once again against Australian fighter Blencowe. They first fought at Bellator 249, where Cyborg defeated her via submission. The Australian earned two victories after that defeat.
Kyoji Horiguchi will also return after suffering defeat in the title bout against Pettis. He will share the cage with Patrick Mix in another bantamweight grand prix quarterfinal fight.
