Cyborg Aims To Face Peña Vs. Amanda II Winner
Cris Cyborg recently took to Twitter with the goal of facing the UFC 277 title bout winner.
The Bellator women’s featherweight champion and former UFC women’s featherweight champion responded to a Tweet from ESPN, suggesting that she fight Julianna Peña or Amanda Nunes, depending on who wins the UFC 277 title bout.
Cyborg Vs. The winner?

The Peña and Nunes fight will be a rematch for the bantamweight championship.
Cyborg competed in the UFC from 2016 to 2019. While Peña never got to face against Cyborg during this time, Nunes dethroned Cyborg of her featherweight champion title in December of 2018. This win led to her becoming the first female dual-weight champion in UFC history, and she holds the featherweight champion title to this day.
While this potential fight may seem exciting, especially for those who want to see a rematch between the two champions, it is very unlikely due to Peña and Nunes competing the UFC while is Cyborg currently competing in the rival promotion, Bellator MMA.
