Cyborg Calls Holm Tougher Than Nunes

Cris Cyborg made a successful first defense of her 145-pound title with a unanimous decision victory over Holly Holm at UFC 219 on December 30th.

And while there was a very public feud between Cyborg and Holm, the champion was very complimentary of her opponent following their fight. And while Cyborg is open to facing Amanda Nunes or former Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson next, but made it clear she doesn’t think highly of Nunes.

“I won’t say no to the fight [against Nunes],” Cyborg told her coaches Jason Parillo and Tito Ortiz, as shown in the “UFC 219: The Thrill and the Agony” video. “I’d say I wouldn’t like it because we are both Brazilians. But if she wants to fight me and the UFC wants…”

Ortiz wondered if Nunes would want to face Cyborg after “that a** whooping” over Holm, and Cyborg compared both bantamweights.

“No, I think Holly is more tough than her.”
