Cyborg Wants To Join McGregor For Japan Exhibition
In the final week of 2018, Floyd Mayweather knocked out Tenshin Nasukawa at RIZIN 14. Two days before that at UFC 232, Cris Cyborg lost her UFC featherweight title to Amanda Nunes in a first round TKO upset.
While Cyborg wants the rematch against Nunes, both Nunes and UFC President Dana White feel that it would be too soon to schedule a return bout after such an emphatic win.
How does Nasukawa play into this? Earlier this week, former UFC double champion Conor McGregor called out the 20-year old kickboxing phenom for an MMA exhibition similar to what Mayweather was paid $9 million dollars for. Nasukawa publicly looked to dictate the terms to fight at 122 pounds and under kickboxing rules, which would put a stop to a potential exhibition.
That did not stop Cyborg from looking to get on the action, as she would tweet at McGregor and Paradigm Sports Management about wanting a fight on the hypothetical card.

This is not new for Cyborg, who has looked at a career in boxing after finishing her UFC contract, and openly calling out members of the WWE’s roster, mainly current star Becky Lynch.
