Dan Hooker Plans To Change Weight Division

One of the most brutal fighters of the UFC, Dan Hooker, plans to change his weight category after suffering three losses in his previous four contests.

But Hooker (21-11), despite losing, has shared the octagon against some top contenders like Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler and Islam Makhachev.

“Doin’ a little something something at the moment,” Hooker said. “Gotta make your next move your best move. Let’s just say I’m working with the UFC and a fight dietician very closely and I’m doing a little test run and we’ll see.”

He also held another great five-round war with Paul Felder where he earned a split decision victory.

It is not clear yet if he plans to go back in featherweight or move up in the welterweight division.

“I’ll be able to answer every question on next week’s show,” Hooker added.
