Dan White Says UFC White House Event Is Officially On
Dana White has confirmed that the UFC will host a UFC White House event on July 4, 2026, saying that they “got it done” following a successful meeting President Trump at the White House, as White promised more details will be coming soon.
The idea for the event was first floated by Trump, who wants to accommodate a “championship fight” as part of a larger America’s 250th anniversary celebration. It was previously reported that all the tickets for the event will be complimentary and although White admitted to some production concerns, he said he’s determined to have the event take place on The White House’s South lawn. Ivanka Trump, the President’s daughter, will be working with White and the UFC team to organize it. While there are no official fights confirmed, Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have expressed their desire to fight on the card, although the UFC CEO said the odds of Jones fighting at the White House are “a billion to one.”
