Dana: Conor Will Never Be Handed UFC Equity

It has been a strange day for former UFC champion Conor McGregor, as the Irish born superstar had announced his retirement and had a sexual assault charge leak within hours of one another.

Now, UFC president Dana White made it clear that no matter what, Conor McGregor will not get a stake in the UFC to come back.

White appeared on “TMZ Live” on Tuesday, and made it clear that he will not hand over an equity stake in the company to anyone, even his top drawing star.

“Listen, if you want to own a piece of the company, you have to put up the money to buy a piece of the company,” White explained … “That’s how it works.”

“I’ve never had a bad conversation with Conor McGregor since he’s been in the UFC,” White continued.

On McGregor’s retirement and demands for a return, White just passed it off as doing business in the world of sports.

“It’s part of sports. There will be others.”
