Dana Focuses On Making Nunes-Cyborg Happen

As the UFC looks to build towards Khabib-Conor and Cormier-Lesnar, Dana White is looking to secure another super-fight between featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and bantamweight titleholder Amanda Nunes.

“That’s the fight to make,” White said earlier this week following UFC on FOX 30’s ceremonial weigh ins. “I don’t know when we’ll get it done, but that’s the fight to make. That’s the fight I want, I know that’s the fight the fans want, and it’s the fight we need to get done.”

“We’ll get it done,” White added when asked about the showdown, where both fighters have wanted the fight, but on different dates.

Nunes and Cyborg have both run the table in their divisions, and with Cyborg looking towards boxing as a next step, this may be the only chance Nunes has facing off with her in Cyborg’s “final fight” in the UFC.
