Dana Speaking To Conor, Ferguson Not Ready To Return

Even though Tony Ferguson made waves last week when he decided to leave the management company that once represented him and Conor McGregor, Dana White made it known the former interim lightweight champion is not set for a return.

At the post fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 150, White addressed the status of both fighters, as McGregor is still in his retirement after announcing the move in March, while Ferguson has been sidelined with physical and mental health issues.

“I was supposed to meet with (McGregor) down here; we’re going to meet in L.A. instead,” White said following the ESPN+ broadcast.

“As far as I know right now, Tony’s still not ready to go, or I would be trying to book him.”

Ferguson claims on his social media that he’s been cleared by doctor’s to compete, but recently suffered some mental health issues that would lead to his wife filing and then removing a temporary restraining order on to the fighter.
